Join myself, State Representative Janet Yang Rohr and Dr. Maura Quinlan from the Illinois Dept. of Health on Wednesday, Oct. 22 at 7 p.m. at the Naperville Municipal Center for a panel discussing: Treatment, Early Detection, Support Systems, Research and Survivor Perspective during Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

The #LovePurse initiative collects new purses that are filled with personal care items, toiletries, menstrual products, and notes of encouragement to distribute to women in need and survivors of domestic violence. Community members are invited to purchase a purse, fill it, and drop it off at one of the spots listed below.
During the month of October, my office along with other DuPage Legislators, is hosting a donation drive for LovePurse. LovePurse collects purses filled with toiletries for women in need. As October is domestic violence awareness month, the purses collected will go directly to Metropolitan Family Services. You can drop off your donation to any of the locations listed below.
