On Saturday, August 16 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., residents can meet with heroes in their community and enjoy close-up views of equipment, trucks, and helicopters used by our first responders. Do you have old, broken, or unwanted crayons? You can freely dispose of any and all unused crayons at my Used Crayon Recycling Drive from now until the end of the month! In collaboration with SCARCE, an award-winning environmental education non-profit dedicated to building sustainable communities, we are collecting crayons to be made into SUPER crayons used by educational and health care professionals alike.

My office is having an upcoming Mobile Office Hours on Saturday, July 19 from 1 to 2:30 p.m. at Oswald's Pharmacy on 88 W. Gartner Rd in Naperville. Mobile office hours offer residents the opportunity to meet with me and my district office staff, give input on state issues, and access informational resources. My office is hosting two End-of-Session town halls this summer! This town hall offers residents the opportunity to get a recap of the spring legislative session and discuss new laws that might benefit the community. The first town hall will be on Wednesday, July 16 at 6:30 p.m. located at the Fountaindale Library in Bolingbrook. The last town hall will be on Monday, July 21 at 7 p.m. located at the Helen Plum Library in Lombard. We can't wait to meet with you!
