You’re invited to a free Senior Resource Fair this Saturday, April 13 from 9:30 a.m. to noon at Windsor Park, 124 Windsor Park Drive, Carol Stream.
This event will bring together representatives from local organizations and state agencies to answer your questions, provide information about services and programs available for seniors and offer helpful financial advice and information to protect yourself from fraud and exploitation.
Among the highlights:
• At 10 a.m., representatives from Attorney General Kwame Raoul’s office will present a Silver Beat seminar with information on how to avoid financial exploitation, fraud and scams
• Get answers to your financial questions and receive free one-on-one financial advice from a certified financial planner
• Learn about programs and services available through DuPage Senior Services, the Illinois Department on Aging and the Illinois Department of Veterans’ Affairs
• Find out if you have unclaimed property or cash with the Illinois State Treasurer’s office
The Senior Resource Fair is free to attend and open to the public.
